Final Proposed Plan Forbes Air Force Base Other HTRW Areas

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District and the Kansas Department of Health and Environment will be holding a Public Meeting to discuss the Proposed Plan for the Forbes Other Areas Proposed Plan Site. A public meeting will be held to discuss the Proposed Plan. Please see the Public Notice linked below for additional information. USACE will accept written comments on the Proposed Plan submitted by November 10, 2022. Notice of Availability and DRAFT Perry Lake Master Plan

Expiration date: 4/29/2022

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District, has prepared a draft Master Plan for Perry Lake with an Environmental Assessment and a Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) that are available for public review. These documents were prepared in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act, and existing Corps policy and regulations.

The United States Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District plans to carry out the repurpose or demolition of the Longview Farm Garage/Apartment and Powerhouse Building and the Greenhouse Managers House associated with the National Register of Historic Places-listed Longview Farm located on Corps-owned land at Longview Lake in Jackson County, Missouri.

Fort Leavenworth Levee Repairs

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District, has prepared a draft Environmental Assessment (EA), Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI), and Finding of No Practical Alternative (FONPA) for the Fort Leavenworth Levee Repairs. The USACE Proposed Action is to repair damage to the levee system created by the flood of 2019.
