  • Draft Integrated Feasibility Report/ Environmental Assessment for the Platte City North Sanitary Sewer Section 14 Emergency Streambank Stabilization Project

    Expiration date: 12/23/2022

    The USACE is soliciting comments from the public; Federal, state, and local agencies and officials; Indian Tribes; and other interested parties in order to consider and evaluate the impacts of this proposed activity. Any comments received will be considered by the USACE to determine whether to issue, modify, condition, or deny an authorization for this proposal. To make this decision, comments are used to address impacts on endangered species, historic properties, water quality, general environmental effects, and other public interest factors listed above. Comments are used in preparation of the final EA and/or an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) pursuant to the NEPA. Comments are also used to determine the need for a public hearing and to determine the overall public interest of the proposed activity. Any person may request, in writing, prior to the expiration date of this public notice, that a public hearing be held to consider this application. Such requests shall state, with particularity, the reasons for holding a public hearing.

  • Final Proposed Plan Forbes Air Force Base Other HTRW Areas

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District and the Kansas Department of Health and Environment will be holding a Public Meeting to discuss the Proposed Plan for the Forbes Other Areas Proposed Plan Site. A public meeting will be held to discuss the Proposed Plan. Please see the Public Notice linked below for additional information. USACE will accept written comments on the Proposed Plan submitted by November 10, 2022.   • Notice of Availability and DRAFT Perry Lake Master Plan

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District, has prepared a draft Master Plan for Perry Lake with an Environmental Assessment and a Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) that are available for public review. These documents were prepared in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act, and existing Corps policy and regulations.

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District and the Missouri Department of Natural Resources will be holding a Public Meeting to discuss the Proposed Plan for the Former Tyson Valley Powder Farm Area of Concern 3/20 Site. A public meeting will be held to discuss the proposed plan. Please see the Public Notice linked below for additional information.     The United States Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District plans to carry out the repurpose or demolition of the Longview Farm Garage/Apartment and Powerhouse Building and the Greenhouse Managers House associated with the National Register of Historic Places-listed Longview Farm located on Corps-owned land at Longview Lake in Jackson County, Missouri.
