    The United States Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District plans to carry out the repurpose or demolition of the Longview Farm Garage/Apartment and Powerhouse Building and the Greenhouse Managers House associated with the National Register of Historic Places-listed Longview Farm located on Corps-owned land at Longview Lake in Jackson County, Missouri.

  • Fort Leavenworth Levee Repairs

    Expiration date: 8/29/2021

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District, has prepared a draft Environmental Assessment (EA), Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI), and Finding of No Practical Alternative (FONPA) for the Fort Leavenworth Levee Repairs. The USACE Proposed Action is to repair damage to the levee system created by the flood of 2019.

  • Whiteman Communications Transmitter Site Proposed Plan

    Expiration date: 8/27/2021

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District and the Missouri Department of Natural Resources will be holding a Public Meeting to discuss the Proposed In-Situ Treatment by Injection, with Monitored Natural Attenuation and Institutional Controls at the Former Whiteman Communications Transmitter Site.

  • Rathbun Lake Ecosystem Restoration Draft Integrated Feasibility Report/Environmental Assessment

    Expiration date: 7/22/2021

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District, has prepared a draft integrated feasibility report/environmental assessment and Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) for the Rathbun Lake Ecosystem Restoration Project. The USACE Proposed Action is to restore degraded embayments and minimize fish emigration.

  • Draft Environmental Assessment for Missouri River Bank Stabilization and Navigation Project 2019 Flood Repairs

    Expiration date: 6/9/2021

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District, has prepared a draft environmental assessment and Clean Water Act Section 404(b)(1) evaluation for Missouri River Bank Stabilization and Navigation Project (BSNP) 2019 flood repairs. The USACE Proposed Action is to implement non-routine repairs to the BSNP primarily in response to damages sustained from the 2019 flood events.
