America the Beautiful passes can still be purchased online at https://www.nps.gov/planyourvisit/passes.htm or you may call a local USACE Lake office to set up an appointment to purchase a pass. Mask and ID are required.
We are taking precautions and have closed our Visitor Center effective July 30, 2021. We will continue to monitor the situation and will provide timely updates regarding other potential facility closures at our lakes on our websites and/or social sites.
Follow CDC guidelines, even when outdoors. We are not staffed to maintain/clean lake & park areas. Be cautious about touching anything. Sanitize and wash often. Practice social distancing.
Moving Firewood Transports TreeKilling Insects & Diseases. Remember to acquire your firewood locally near the campground or use certified pest free firewood.
The objective of natural resource management at Pomme de Terre Lake is to fully consider the recreation and resource potential that may be afforded on project property and to capitalize on that potential for the benefit of the wildlife and the enjoyment of the public on a sustained basis.

  • Off-season camping (Nov. 1 - Mar 15) - free
    • Outlet Park will stay open from (Nov. 1 thru Mar. 15) - $10/day

Day-Use

  • Corps boat ramps - $5.00/day
  • Corps beach - $1.00/person or $5.00/car
  • children 12 and under are free
  • Annual Day-Use Permit - $40.00/year

Shelters

  • Shelters - $20 or $30/day

 

The Project Office is open to the public Monday - Friday from 7:30am - 4:00pm. During the summer months it is open on Saturday and Sunday by appointment only.

***America The Beautiful Passes are sold by appointment only***  To schedule an appointment, call 417-745-6411.  Cash, check or credit card.  Must bring ID. Masks are required. Available passes include, America the Beautiful Annual, Access, Senior Lifetime, Senior Annual, Veteran and Uniformed Military.
