    APPLICANT: Missouri Department of Conservation PROJECT LOCATION: There are three separate project sites located on Missouri Department of Conservation boat accesses along the Missouri River. Miami Access in Section 5, Township 52 North, Range 21 West, city of Miami, Saline County, Missouri. Stump Island Access in Section 16, Township 51 North, Range 17 West, city of Glasgow, Howard County, Missouri. Mokane Access in Section 25, Township 45 North, Range 9 West, rural Callaway County, Missouri. ACTIVITY: The applicant proposes to place approximately 1,150 cubic yards of fill material within waters of the United States. The applicant’s stated purpose is to remove sediment from the Miami, Stump Island, and Mokane accesses to allow public access to the Missouri River. The project would result in temporary impacts to the Missouri River, but does not propose any permanent loss of waters of the U.S.

    APPLICANT: Wolf Run, LLC PROJECT LOCATION: The project site is located within a 0.66 acre emergent wetland adjacent to a tributary to Wolf Creek, within southern Overland Park, Johnson County, Kansas. The site is north of W 183rd Street, south of W 175th Street, and immediately east of Pflumm Road. The project location is within Section 27, Township 14 South, Range 24 East, Johnson County, Kansas. ACTIVITY: The applicant proposes to place fill material within waters of the United States for the construction of residential lots and a storm water detention basin serving a portion of a proposed 80 acre single family residential development.

    STATE OF KANSAS, INCLUDING INDIAN COUNTRY - ISSUANCE OF REGIONAL GENERAL PERMIT 43 - MAINTENANCE OF MAN-MADE LAKES AND PONDS. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District, HAS ISSUED GP-43, authorizing the removal and discharge of lakebed/pond sediment in conjunction with mechanical dredging, hydraulic dredging and excavation activities within the State of Kansas. Additionally, this permit will authorize the dredged/excavated material to be used in the construction of jetties/breakwaters, shoreline stabilization structures, fish and wildlife habitat improvement structures and other similar activities. This regional general permit is issued under the authority of Section 404 of the Clean Water Act (33 USC 1344). It does not obviate the need for project proponents to obtain other Federal, state, or local authorizations. DURATION OF THE GENERAL PERMIT: The GP-43 has been issued and is in effect for a period of five years from December 5, 2019, unless it is specifically modified, suspended, or revoked prior to the expiration date.

ACTIVITY: Land Learning Foundation (the Sponsor) proposes to construct and operate an in-lieu fee compensatory mitigation site on the approximate 17-acre subject property.

    APPLICANT: Lyon County Highway Department PROJECT LOCATION: The project is located 0.25 miles north, 4.75 miles west of Bushong on County Road 335 crossing Bluff Creek in Section 19, Township 16 South, Range 10 East, Lyon County, Kansas. ACTIVITY: Lyon County Highway Department has submitted a Section 404 permit application for work involving the discharge of dredged and fill material within Bluff Creek. The county proposes to remove a 62-foot long, single-span Pratt Pony Truss Bridge and construct an 80-foot long all-steel bridge in the same location.
