  • Stockton Lake to host annual managed deer hunt

    STOCKTON, Mo., — The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Stockton Lake and The Stockton Lions Club will host the 19th Annual Stockton Lake Managed Deer Hunt for people with physical disabilities Nov. 5 and 6, 2016, in Hawker Point, Masters and Orleans Trail South parks. The hunt is limited to people with disabilities, or those permanently confined to wheelchairs, walkers, canes or crutches. Using a random drawing for those that met the selection criteria, 20 individuals were selected for this managed hunt.

    WARSAW, Mo., — The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Harry S. Truman Lake and The Masonic Lodge #653 will host the 27th Annual Truman Lake Managed Deer Hunt for people with physical disabilities Nov. 5 and 6, 2016, at Shawnee Bend and Berry Bend parks.
