  • Corps announces milestone on Wakenda Levee Repairs

    The Kansas City District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is pleased to announce that it has restored the Wakenda Levee located in Carroll County, Mo. to Its 2011 pre-flood level of protection.
  • Public invited to meeting about Kansas Army Ammunition Plant

    The Kansas Army Ammunition Plant will host a Restoration Advisory Board (RAB) meeting for local community members on April 3, at the Labette Bank located at 2121 Main, Parsons, Kan., from 6 to 8 p.m.
  • Corps to hold youth hunt at Clinton Lake

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Clinton Lake, in partnership with the Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks and Tourism and the Kaw Valley Sportsmen Association, will host its Sixth Annual Youth Turkey Hunt at Clinton Lake on April 7, 2012.
  • Access to Clinton Lake park to close for repairs

    Vehicle access to Woodridge Park at Clinton Lake will be blocked from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 12-19 so that Douglas County Public Works can replace two culverts.
  • Corps makes releases from Harlan County Lake

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Harlan County Lake is bumping up releases from the dam to 1,000 cubic feet per second beginning March 5.
