    KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Shooting feral hogs on lands managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Kansas City District is prohibited under Title 36 special restriction. In addition, it is prohibited under Missouri Department of Conservation regulations on lands they own or manage, including corps' lands.

  • Stockton Lake to host annual managed deer hunt

    STOCKTON, Mo., — The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Stockton Lake and The Stockton Lions Club will host the 19th Annual Stockton Lake Managed Deer Hunt for people with physical disabilities Nov. 5 and 6, 2016, in Hawker Point, Masters and Orleans Trail South parks. The hunt is limited to people with disabilities, or those permanently confined to wheelchairs, walkers, canes or crutches. Using a random drawing for those that met the selection criteria, 20 individuals were selected for this managed hunt.
  • Orleans Trail Rock Quarry Area Closure at Stockton Lake

    STOCKTON, Mo.— Due to recent trash dumping and environmental concerns, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Stockton Lake announce a portion of the Orleans Trail Rock Quarry Area near the Orleans Trail Campground and Day Use Area is closed to vehicle traffic. Recreational use associated with the Rock Quarry Area will be accessible by foot traffic only. The rock beach in this area is open to vehicles at this time.

    STOCKTON, Mo.— The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Stockton Lake announce temporary boat ramp closures due to low water conditions. Cedar Ridge South Park ramp and High Point ramp is closed until low water conditions improve.
