SUBJECT: Public Notice
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Kansas City District is evaluating a Section 408 Request to Alter a Federal Project pursuant to 33 USC 408. The Unified Government of Wyandotte County and Kansas City, Kansas proposed project would involve installation of temporary utilities consisting of water, sanitary, and gas within the Armourdale Levee Unit right-of-way. The project would be conducted completely on property owned by the Unified Government of Wyandotte County and Kansas City, Kansas. The public notice summarizes the proposed project, public interest review, and environmental evaluation.
The Corps is soliciting public comments on the Section 408 Request during a 15-day review period that opens March 4, 2024 and will close March 18, 2024.
