KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The Kansas City District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will hold a public meeting on April 14, 2025, to discuss updating the Water Control Manual for Harlan County Lake. Harlan County Lake is in the Republican River Basin, part of the larger Kansas River basin. The public is encouraged to attend the meeting to learn more about the methods and timeline for updating the Water Control Manual, and to discuss issues, interests and concerns with the technical team.

Date: Monday, April 14, 2025
Location: Johnson Center, 509 W. Main Street, Alma, NE.
Time: Doors open at 5:00 p.m.; meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. and adjourns at 7:00 p.m.
Format: There will be a presentation at 5:40 p.m., time for questions and discussion, followed by an open house poster session until adjournment.
