KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has awarded a multiyear contract to a St. Louis, Missouri company for a total of $491,279.81 to provide the Next NGA West Integrated Project Office’s Janitorial Services.
Dala Worldwide Services, a Minority Women-Owned Small Business, will provide janitorial services for the on-site office space throughout the construction of the Next NGA West.
These services will enable the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District and National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency to maintain an on-site presence during the construction of the Next NGA West.
As the construction agent, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District is responsible for the design, construction and delivery of the N2W facilities.
Next NGA West is the largest federal investment project in the history of St. Louis. It is a mega-project jointly managed by the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and U.S. Air Force. The 97-acre site is located in the historic St. Louis Place neighborhood at the intersection of Jefferson and Cass avenues. The project will feature an approximately 712,000 square foot office building, parking garages, visitor center, remote inspection facility and access control points.
