The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Harry S. Truman Lake announce the permanent closure of Windsor Crossing Campground effective March 1, 2018.

WARSAW, Mo. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Harry S. Truman Lake announce the permanent closure of Windsor Crossing Campground effective March 1, 2018.

Due to underutilization and projected budget restrictions, the camping and beach area will close in an effort to improve other park operating efficiencies and provide quality recreation opportunities for the public. The day-use boat ramp facility at Windsor Crossing will remain open with no operational changes.

Reservations have already been closed by the Corps, as this campground is not currently in-season. We encourage visitors to visit Long Shoal or Berry Bend campgrounds, which are in the vicinity of Windsor Crossing.
