The Secretary of the Kansas Department of Agriculture has issued a quarantine on all wood that originates in Johnson and Wyandotte Counties in order to prevent the spread of Emerald Ash Borer. Due to the state mandated quarantine no wood from Johnson or Wyandotte Counties will be allowed at Perry Lake. The quarantine includes firewood of all hardwoods, ash nursery stock, any live ash tree and any other living material from an ash tree. For more information please click HERE
