HERMITAGE, Mo.— The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Pomme de Terre Lake invite the public to the grand opening of the new archery range on Saturday, April 2, 2016 starting at 10 a.m. At this event Corps staff will engage with the community, host contests and award prizes.
The range is handicap accessible and provides six public shooting lanes. The first four lanes have targets located at 20, 30, 40 and 50 yards. The following two lanes have targets placed at 10 and 15 meters for schools that participate in the National Archery in the Schools Program. The range is free to the public and available on a first come, first served basis. Posted safety rules apply.
The archery range is located in Hermitage, Mo. on County Road 218, just past the Pomme de Terre Lake Project Office. For additional information contact the project office at 417-745-6411.
