JUNCTION CITY, Kan.— The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Milford Lake and the Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks and Tourism will host the annual Eagle Day event Saturday, January 16, at the Milford Nature Center in Junction City, Kansas.

The Nature Center will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with several free activities including live eagle programs, kid’s crafts and bus rides to eagle viewing stations around Milford Lake.

“This is a great event to provide educational information on bald eagles, our national symbol, and offers an opportunity to view them in the wild,” said Zach Wallace, Milford Lake park ranger.
