MANHATTAN, Kan.,—The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Tuttle Creek Lake invites the public to attend “Edible Wild Plants” on August 23 at 7 p.m. at Shelter #3 in Outlet Park.
Ranger Jordan McGuinn will share examples and photos of common edible plants in Kansas. Some samples will be shared, including Sumac Tea and recipes will also be handed out. This is a free program and all ages are invited to attend!
