MANHATTAN, Kan., — The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Tuttle Creek Lake invites the public to attend the “Blue River Trail Nature Hike,” on August 9 at 7 p.m.
Ranger Paul Weidhaas will lead a short walk down the Blue River Trail and talk about the native plants and animals of Kansas. All are encouraged to bring a good pair of walking shoes for the trail. Participants should meet at shelter #3 in Outlet Park. The program is free, and no vehicle permits are required. All ages are invited to attend.
