U.S. Army Corps of Engineers schedules "Skins & Skulls" program

MANHATTAN, Kan.,—The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Tuttle Creek Lake invites the public to attend the “Skins & Skulls” – Mammals of Tuttle Creek Area program on July 12, at 7:00 p.m.

The program will be held at Shelter #3 in Outlet Park. The program is free, and no vehicle permits are required. All ages are invited to attend.   

Jordan McGuinn, water safety ranger at Tuttle Creek Lake, will conduct the program. She will be discussing interesting topics about mammals found in the Kansas area. Topics covered will include various mammals’ habitats, food preferences, self-defense mechanisms, and much more. Also, real animal skulls and skins will be on display. People are urged to bring their own lawn chairs, if available. It is predicted to be both a fun and educational evening.
