CLINTON LAKE: 17th Annual Kaw Valley Eagles Day to be held

CLINTON LAKE:

The 17th Annual Kaw Valley Eagles Day will be held on Jan. 19th from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Free State High School in Lawrence, Kan.

The program will consist of two presentations on Kansas' Nesting Bald Eagles and Live Raptors at 9 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. There will be another presention on the Black-footed Ferret Recovery Efforts in Kansas at 12 p.m.

Eagle-viewing field trips will take place at 10:45 a.m. and 3 p.m. Visitors should meet at the north entrance of the Free State High School at these times. For last minute details on the field trips, you can call 785-393-3809 or 785-331-6022. The field trips are free and available on a first come, first serve basis.
