KANSAS CITY, Mo.— The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers announces the opening of a 30-day comment period on the proposed plan to address Operable Unit 3 at the Former Nebraska Ordnance Plant.
The Proposed Plan summarizes the “no further action” recommendation for Operable Unit 3 based on the Administrative Record.
The comment period begins on October 25, 2012, and ends on November 24, 2012. As part of the public comment period, USACE will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, November 14, 2012, at 7:00 p.m. at the Yutan Veterans Country Club, 1581 Yutan Road, Yutan, Neb. A one-hour public availability/poster session will precede the public meeting beginning at 6:00 p.m.
