LAWRENCE, Kan.— Vehicle access to Woodridge Park at Clinton Lake will be blocked from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 12-19 so that Douglas County Public Works can replace two culverts.
The park is located at the northwest end of Clinton Lake, and the repairs will take place at the intersection of County Road N 1250 (also known as County Road 2) and County Road E 350.
After this first week of work the road should be passable, but there will still be equipment at the site and work underway to complete the final grading and clean-up. This clean-up work will continue through April 5 and may cause some temporary closures to this intersection at various times.
Douglas County Public Works will also be replacing the culvert just east of E 300 Road at County Road N 1250. This work will take place after the two culverts at E 350 are in place. Placement of this culvert should not result in closure of County Road N 1250, but some temporary disruptions might be required during construction.
