KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Six years ago, the historic Missouri River flooding of 2019 devastated communities across the Kansas City Metro and surrounding regions. Now, as another flood season approaches, the Kansas City District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is taking proactive steps to safeguard critical infrastructure and enhance community preparedness.
