Public invited to attend open house for Former Nebraska Ordnance Plant

Officials will host an open house for the Former Nebraska Ordnance Plant on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, from 4:30 p.m.–7:00 p.m. at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Country Club in Yutan, Nebraska. 

The VFW Country Club is located south of Highway 92 at 1581 Yutan Road. The public is invited to attend the open house. There will be a brief informational presentation on the 2023 Containment Evaluation at 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Project personnel from the Kansas City District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will be at the open house and available to provide and interpret water sampling results and other site data.
