Custodians and park attendants are needed for Truman, Pomme de Terre and Stockton lakes

 Harry S. Truman Dam & Reservoir, Pomme de Terre Lake and Stockton Lake are looking for Custodians, Park Attendants and/or Custodian/Park Attendants to fill the necessary and gratifying roles of cleaning and welcoming visitors to our parks and recreation areas.

Contract opportunities will be advertised on SAM.gov by August 18, 2023, and will be open until Sep 20, 2023 12:00 pm CDT. There will be three solicitations advertised in pursuit of 23 awarded contracts: Solicitation Number W912DQ24Q1002 Custodian; W912DQ24Q1001 Park Attendant and W912DQ24Q1000 Park Attendant/Custodian. 

Enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individuals who take pride in quality work and are dedicated to fulfilling the duties in their contract will be considered. Custodial and Custodial/Attendant positions require the physical capabilities to do the following activities: litter pick-up on grounds and in facilities; clean/scrub toilets, floors, fixtures, walls, in waterborne and vault toilet facilities.

Attendant positions require the ability to read, understand and operate the computer database for visitor passes; communicate clearly and respectfully with visitors, make rounds through the park or public use and do minor cleaning.

Award of contracts is limited to contractors registered in SAM.gov who have obtained a Cage Code and a Unique Entity Identification number. Registration in SAM.gov is FREE for contractors.
