Warsaw, Mo. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers announce the courtesy docks at Harry S. Truman Lake are temporarily removed for use from December 1 through February 29, 2022 and will not collect day use fees for those amenities. A Shawnee Bend dock will remain in place year-round for public use. Please note that some recreation amenities will be relocating to other locations around Truman Lake. Vault toilet facilities from Talley Bend Access have been relocated to Berry Bend Ramp. A porta-john will, however, be available at Talley Bend Access during spring spawn and spoonbill season for public use. The courtesy dock from Talley Bend will be relocated to Shawnee Bend for use in the spring of 2022. Relocation of these facilities will ensure maintenance actions can continue in our busiest parks.
