Warsaw, Mo. - The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Harry S. Truman Lake announce the closure of Friends of Brush Creek park and boat ramp due to public safety concerns associated with a failing culvert underneath the park’s entrance road.

Visitors to the area are encouraged to use other nearby areas for boat launch purposes to include the City of Osceola Ramp, Crowe’s Crossing and Sac River Access. Please obey road and ramp closure gates and signage. At this time, there is not a set plan for completion of repairs or reopening the park and boat ramp – as safety is the Corps primary concern.
