Visitor Centers closed as Corps of Engineers take precautions for visitors

We are taking precautions and have closed our Visitor Center effective July 30, 2021. We will continue to monitor the situation and will provide timely updates regarding other potential facility closures at our lakes on our websites and/or social sites.

We are taking precautions and have closed our Visitor Center effective July 30, 2021. We will continue to monitor the situation and will provide timely updates regarding other potential facility closures at our lakes on our websites and/or social sites.

Due to health precautions regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19), all Kansas City District Visitor Centers are closed. Safety is our number one priority. Nothing is more important than the safety of our visitors, customers, contractors and our people.

Please observe and adhere to public health warning signage that may be posted around recreation areas such as public restrooms or shelter houses.

America the Beautiful passes can still be purchased online at https://www.nps.gov/planyourvisit/passes.htm or you may call the local project office to set up an appointment.

Kansas City District Visitor Center locations: Blue Springs, Clinton, Harlan County, Harry S. Truman, Hillsdale, Kanopolis, Long Branch, Longview, Melvern, Milford, Perry, Pomme de Terre, Pomona, Rathbun, Smithville, Stockton, Tuttle Creek and Wilson lakes.
