Worthington and South Point Loop will have partial site closures, the West Group Camp will be fully operational.  Open sites will become available on April 15, 2020.
  • Rock Creek Park: all of Peninsula Loop (A, B and C Loops) will remain closed until further repairs can be made.  Big Rock, Edwardsville and Whippoorwill Loops will be fully operational. Rock Creek Road from the Boat Ramp to 237 Highway will remain closed until further repairs can be made.  Open sites will become available on May 1.
  • Longview Park: fully operational, group campsite will become available on May 1.

Closed portions of the park will be reopened after repairs have been made and the area is safe for visitors, there is no estimated time on when those areas will reopen.

“We ask everyone to remain patient as we continue to work towards securing the resources and make the necessary repairs to get the parks fully operational and safe, it is our number 1 priority. We anticipate contractors and our staff to be busy this summer, please be aware of additional hazards and traffic from construction and repair activities,” said Park Manager Jason Hurley.
