Waterfowl drawing set for Harry S. Truman Lake

WARSAW, Mo. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Harry S. Truman Lake announce the 2018 waterfowl blind drawing is Saturday, Aug. 25.

Registration is at 8:00 a.m. and the drawing will follow. Registrants must be at least 16 years of age to draw and must show current identification and their Federal Migratory Bird Stamp.

This drawing will be random and selected registrants will choose a location from one of four zones (Pomme de Terre, Osage, Grand and Tebo locations). Blinds must keep a 300-yard distance from previously registered blind sites. Permanent blinds are not allowed on ponds, marshes or west of Highway 13.

Walk-in waterfowl blind registrations will be accepted through Sept. 30.
