LAWRENCE, Kan. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers requests comments and feedback on the draft Clinton Lake Master Plan. Comments for this plan will be accepted through Apr. 12, 2018.
“We have very little public land in the state of Kansas so it’s really important for the public to have a say in how this land is managed,” said Samantha Jones, park manager at Clinton Lake. “In addition, the prior Master Plan for Clinton Lake was prepared in 1985, so we want to capture the changes that have occurred since then and those that may occur in the foreseeable future. If you were unable to attend the public meeting in March, you still have time to provide comments. We need your help.”
The draft Master Plan can be viewed online at https://usace.contentdm.oclc.org/utils/getfile/collection/p16021coll7/id/6368.
Comments can be emailed to Clinton@usace.army.mil or mailed to U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Environmental Resources, Clinton Master Plan, 601 E. 12th St. Kansas City, MO, 64106.
