TECHNICAL SUPPORT
Division Structure

Our Real Estate Division is one of three Technical Divisions within the Kansas City District, operating alongside the Engineering & Construction Division and the Operations Division.

District Funding Model

A Technical Division is directly funded by our customers (earning revenue for the District). Other administrative or overhead offices are funded by the Technical Divisions through district budgetary processes. Overhead and burden rates are computed by Resource Management and applied directly to Technical Divisions as a cost of doing business.

AUTHORITY
Regulatory Mandate

The Real Estate Division has the authority to administer real estate actions in accordance with ER 405-1-12, and by the authority of the Chief of Engineers, US Army Corps of Engineers, HQUSACE.

Delegation of Authority

This explicit authority is formally delegated to the Kansas City District Commander and is further sub-delegated to the Chief of the Real Estate Division.

The Kansas City District Real Estate Division acts as the primary real estate agent for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and its diverse range of partner organizations:
