Off-Road Vehicle Park work day at Tuttle Creek Lake

MANHATTAN, Kan. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Tuttle Creek Lake will partner with area off-road clubs to conduct a cleanup and trail maintenance day at the Tuttle Creek Off-Road Vehicle Park on August 12, 2017.

Tuttle Creek Lake prepares for winter: Outflow increases, lake drops

Beginning Dec. 5, 2016 the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Tuttle Creek Project will increase outflows to drop lake levels, consistent with the annual Water Level Management Plan. This seasonal adjustment minimizes ice damage, provides additional storage capacity for spring rains and favorable habitat conditions for the lake’s fishery spawning next spring.

U.S. Army Corps of Engineers announce periodic inspection and road closure at Tuttle Creek Lake

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Tuttle Creek Lake announce an upcoming periodic inspection of the stilling basin, which occurs every five years. This planned inspection will cause a temporary traffic detour near the stilling basin beginning Monday, October 5 through Friday, October 23.
