    MANHATTAN, Kan. — The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Tuttle Creek Lake today announced the closing of the swim beach and boat ramp at Tuttle Creek Cove Park due to flooding. All non-utility sites are closed, however, several utility sites remain available for tent camping.

    MANNHATTAN, Kan.,— The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Tuttle Creek Lake invites the public to attend the Lewis and Clark Expedition program on Saturday, June 20, 2015, at 7 p.m. The program will be held at the Roadside Shelter in Tuttle Creek Cove Park. The program is free and no vehicle permits are required. All ages are invited to attend.
  • 14th Annual Youth Fishing Day a huge success

    WARSAW, Mo.,— The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the Missouri Department of Conservation would like to give a special thanks to all of those who participated in the 14th annual Youth Fishing Day held on May 4 at the Missouri Department of Conservation Regional Office in Clinton. Fifty-six students from surrounding school districts participated in the day’s events and learned about water safety, fishing, outdoor recreation, and the importance of conserving our natural resources.
