    MANHATTAN, Kan.,— The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Tuttle Creek Lake will sponsor a free Eagle Day program on Saturday, Jan. 7, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The day will begin at the Manhattan Fire station at Kimball and Denison avenues.

    STOCKTON, Mo.— Due to recent trash dumping and environmental concerns, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Stockton Lake announce a portion of the Orleans Trail Rock Quarry Area near the Orleans Trail Campground and Day Use Area is closed to vehicle traffic. Recreational use associated with the Rock Quarry Area will be accessible by foot traffic only. The rock beach in this area is open to vehicles at this time.
