PROJECT LOCATION: The project would affect the Big Blue River, a water of the United States. The project area is located approximately 4 miles north of the City of Blue Rapids and 1.3 miles west of US-Highway 77, in the N ½ of Section 31, Township 3 South, Range 7 East, Marshall County, Kansas.
PROPOSED WORK: The applicant requests authorization to place fill within the Big Blue River at Site BBR32 for the purpose of bank erosion protection and stabilization to protect agricultural land and reduce sedimentation into Tuttle Creek Reservoir, an important water supply reservoir.
