  • Open house to be held for the Former Nebraska Ordnance Plant

    The Kansas City District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, will host an Open House for the Former Nebraska Ordnance Plant on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, from 4:30-6:30 p.m., at the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Country Club in Yutan, Nebraska located south of Highway 92 at 1581 Yutan Road. Project personnel will be available to provide and interpret groundwater sampling results and other site data. To learn more about the former Nebraska Ordnance Plant, please plan on attending this Open House. There will be brief informational presentations on the 2024 Containment Evaluation at 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.

  • Outdoor open house planned for former Nebraska Ordnance Plant

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District, will host an outdoor open house from 4:30-5:15 p.m. and a site bus tour will occur from 5:15 p.m. to approximately 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, for the former Nebraska Ordnance Plant. The open house will be at the main groundwater treatment plant in Ashland, Nebraska located at the junction of County Road 6 and County Road F.

    Officials will host an open house for the Former Nebraska Ordnance Plant on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, from 4:30 p.m.–7:00 p.m. at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Country Club in Yutan, Nebraska.

    Officials will host an open house on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, to provide information about the Former Nebraska Ordnance Plant. The open house will be hosted by the Kansas City District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and project personnel will be available to provide and interpret groundwater sampling results and other site data. There will be a brief informational presentation on the 2022 Containment Evaluation. Anyone interested in learning more about the project is encouraged to attend.
