Eagle Day at Stockton Lake Jan. 12 - Corps lake in southwest Missouri

The Kansas City District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Stockton Lake near Stockton, Mo. will host an Eagle Day with partners on Jan. 12, 2019. At the beginning of each year, the Stockton Lake Association, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, and the Missouri Department of Conservation combine forces to bring the community a spectacle of nature’s beauty known as Eagle Day. Corps Reminds Hunters of “Archery Only” Restriction

KANSAS CITY, Mo.— The fall hunting season is just around the corner and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Kansas City District reminds hunters to review any recent changes in hunting regulations and area restrictions. Effective this March, the Missouri Department of Conservation changed regulations to include: allowing crossbows as a legal method during archery deer and turkey seasons; allowing the use of crossbows during the fall firearms turkey season; and removing the hunting method exemption requirement related to crossbows during the archery deer and turkey season.
