Corps to host public information workshop for Rathbun Lake

CENTERVILLE, Iowa —The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Rathbun Lake will host two workshops Tuesday, July 21, at the Rathbun Regional Water Association administrative office, 16166 Hwy J29, Centerville, Iowa, to present the Draft Environmental Assessment including the Draft Finding of No Significant Impact on the Draft Revised Water Control Manual.

The Corps has prepared a draft revision to the 1980 version of the Water Regulation Manual and encourages anyone interested in learning more or providing input on the draft documents to attend one of the workshops. Public comments regarding the draft documents accepted July 13, 2015 to August 13, 2015 at the above address or email.

Scheduled times for the workshops are 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., and 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
