General Fishing Report:
Thanks for your help to Keep the Fishing Areas Clean! It keeps things looking nice!
Baits and equipment are readily available around the lake and at Light House Bay and North Shore Marinas which are also good places to start a fishing trip on the lake. Both marinas offer fishing from the docks for a small fee.
Fishing activity has picked up significantly the last few weeks. Reports indicate crappie are still being caught along with white bass in deeper water. Wiper are also being caught. Try fishing for Wiper by; trolling with lures, casting with spoons or by fishing areas where the wind and waves bring food to the shoreline.
We have just begun using our fish feeders in the lake and are running whole corn through them at this time. Later we plan to use fish feed. Try this and hold on to your pole as you are likely to catch a catfish or carp! Catfish begin to spawn at 75 degree temperature.
