Geary County Fish & Game
The Geary County Fish & Game Association is recognized as an outstanding sportsmen’s group in the State of Kansas. It has a long history of effective conservation and outdoor education activities, and its members are frequently called upon to assist with projects and legislation at the state level. GCF&G is affiliated with the Kansas Wildlife Federation and works in cooperation with the Kansas Wildlife & Parks Dept. in improving wildlife and fish habitat in the Geary County area. GCF&G maintains a 75 acre facility, called Sportsmen’s Acres, on the southern end of Milford Lake on 244 Spur Hwy. The site has a 40' x 50' metal club building with kitchen facilities, restrooms, and a spacious meeting area. Located nearby the outdoor enthusiast will find three trap houses, sporting clay, archery range, picnic tables, and plenty of room for other outdoor activities.
