Milford Radio Control Club's Fun Fly
The Milford Lake Radio R/Cer's club will be holding their annual helicopter fun fly. They meet at the radio control field at Farnum Creek Park. For more information, please call 785-238-1877 or 785-209-0458.

Milford Nature Center Kids Fishing Clinic
Check-in begins at 8:30 at the Milford Nature Center, clinic begins at 9; open fishing at 10. Participants can take part in a casting contest during open fishing. The clinic will end with a drawing for fishing equipment and prizes for clinic participants. Lunch will be provided to all participants. Please register by calling 785-238-5323.

Sunflower State Games Adventure Race
The race is part of the 23rd annual sports festival -"The Sunflower State Games." The event will be held at the Milford State Park Yacht Club parking lot from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Please call Milford State Park at 785-238-3014 for more information.

Catfish Chasers Tournament

Float Your Boat Cardboard Boat Races
Build a boat out of only cardboard and duct tape that is capable of holding two people and can be launched and paddled on a set course and you can win. The event will be held at the Milford State Park, south boat ramp and will start at 2 p.m. For more information, please call 785-238-3014.

Milford Lake Extreme Outdoor Water Festival
Get your kids signed up for the youth Triathion! The event will start at 10 a.m. After the triathlon, enjoy the many interactive activities at the festival. The activities will include carnival games, canoe/kayak rides, booths, displays to learn about water safety. The event will be held at the Milford State Park. Free park entrance for this day. 2012 Corps Bow Hunt Drawing
The drawing will be held on Saturday, August 25 at the Milford Project Office. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. and the drawing will start at 9:30 a.m. Each person wanting to draw for a permit must be present, show a valid hunting license and a photo ID. There will be 31 permits drawn. For more information please call the Corps of Engineers office at 785-238-5714 and hit 0.
