Harry S. Truman Visitor Center to open for the 2012 season

The Harry S. Truman Visitor Center in Warsaw, MO will open for the 2012 season on Thursday, March 1.
The center's open season runs March 1 through October 31 of each year. Operating hours March 1 up to Memorial weekend are 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. daily. Starting on the Friday of Memorial Day weekend through October 31, the center hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m. daily.
The center offers spectacular views of the lake, dam and the city of Warsaw. Exhibits conveying history and culture of the Osage Valley are available. The theater offers a must-see short movie on Osage Valley history and construction of the dam. Wildlife and water safety videos are also available for viewing. The staff will be available to answer questions and to provide Annual Day Use Passes, water safety materials, lake area brochures and maps.
