2015-1741 - 8/12/2015: APPLICANT: Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks and Tourism PROJECT LOCATION: The project is located on Kingman State Fishing Lake, in Section 36 of Township 27 South, Range 9 West, in Kingman County, Kansas . ACTIVITY: Construction of two rock piers on Kingman State Fishing Lake.

2015-1709 - 8/10/2015: APPLICANT: Holliday Sand and Gravel Company PROJECT LOCATION: Sections 4, 5 and 8, Township 12 south, Range 23 east, Johnson County, Kansas. ACTIVITY: Expansion of the existing Frisbie Road Sand pit for the commercial extraction of sand. Overburden soils will be excavated and stockpiled at locations on the site for future use during mining reclamation. After removal of overburden soil, an area of the pit mine is excavated sufficiently to allow for a permanent pool of water to place a floating dredge. The dredge is then operated within the pit to hydraulically remove aggregate materials that are then cleaned, sorted and stockpiled for sale. Water generated during dredging and the subsequent processing steps will be returned to the pit mine lagoon and not discharged into the Kansas River.

GP-4 (2005-648) - 8/4/2015: State of Missouri - Proposed Issuance/Renewal of General Permit (GP-4) for Private Boat Docks, Associated Dock Structures and Minor Discharges in the Missouri River and Navigable/Historically Navigable Portions of the Big Blue River, Gasconade River, Grand River, Lamine River and Osage River. In accordance with Title 33 CFR 325.2 and 325.7(e), as published in the November 13, 1986, Federal Register, the U.S. Army, Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District, in conjunction with the St. Louis District, proposes to renew authorization of General Permit No. 4 for another 5-year period. The general permit authorizes the placement of small private boat docks, associated dock structures, and minor discharges up to 25 cubic yards, including excavation, in the Missouri River at locations as described in Appendix I of the permit, and in navigable portions of the Big Blue River, Gasconade River, Grand River, Lamine River, and Osage River.

2015-316 - 8/3/2015: APPLICANT: PG Partners, LLC PROJECT LOCATION: The project is located on a parcel of land in Sections 19 and 30, Township 47 north, Range 33 west in Jackson County, Missouri. ACTIVITY: The applicant proposes to permanently pipe and fill seven separate ephemeral streams for a total of 2,550 linear feet (LF) and to grade and fill 3.33 acres of wetlands for construction of the Gateway Village Mixed Use Development.

2015-570 - 8/3/2015: IN-LIEU-FEE PROGRAM SPONSOR: Watershed Land Trust PROJECT LOCATION: The Project is located on two separate tracts of land located in Sections 26 and 36, Township 26 South, Range 2 West, Sedgwick County, Kansas. ACTIVITY: The Project would provide mitigation credits within the Middle Arkansas Service Area, as defined in the in-lieu-fee instrument, and is located in the six-digit Middle Arkansas Watershed (110300). Mitigation activities would occur on two tracts (North and South) of land owned by The Watershed Institute (111 acres and 117 acres, respectively). Mitigation objectives include restoration, enhancement and preservation of stream, wetland and riparian/floodplain resources.
