  • Rathbun Lake Ecosystem Restoration Draft Integrated Feasibility Report/Environmental Assessment

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District, has prepared a draft integrated feasibility report/environmental assessment and Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) for the Rathbun Lake Ecosystem Restoration Project. The USACE Proposed Action is to restore degraded embayments and minimize fish emigration.

  • Draft Environmental Assessment for Missouri River Bank Stabilization and Navigation Project 2019 Flood Repairs

    Expiration date: 6/9/2021

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District, has prepared a draft environmental assessment and Clean Water Act Section 404(b)(1) evaluation for Missouri River Bank Stabilization and Navigation Project (BSNP) 2019 flood repairs. The USACE Proposed Action is to implement non-routine repairs to the BSNP primarily in response to damages sustained from the 2019 flood events.   • Wilson Lake Master Plan

    Expiration date: 4/30/2021

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District, has prepared a draft Master Plan for Wilson Lake with an Environmental Assessment and a Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) that are available for public review. These documents were prepared in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act, and existing Corps policy and regulations.

  • Buck O'Neil Replacement Bridge across Missouri River

    Expiration date: 3/30/2021

    The proposed project constructs a new bridge across the Missouri River, west of the existing Buck O’Neil bridge, and makes improvements along US-169, north of the river between MO-9 and the new bridge including access improvements to the Kansas City Downtown Airport (MKC, airport). Construction is anticipated to begin in Summer 2021 and conclude in 2024.

  • Tyson Valley Powder Farm Proposed Plan

    Expiration date: 4/5/2021

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Kansas City District and the Missouri Department of Natural Resources (MDNR) will be holding a Public Meeting to discuss the Proposed No Action Plan for Selected Areas of Concern and Areas of Interest at the Former Tyson Valley Powder Farm.
