WARSAW, Mo. - The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Kansas City District announced today the upcoming closure of the roadway over Harry S. Truman Dam beginning approximately Sept. 21.
The closure is necessary while maintenance work is done on the dam’s intake bulkhead gates. The road will be closed for the duration of the maintenance project, including nights and weekends.
The project will last until approximately Oct. 13, 2016.
