Bucksaw Beach closed at Truman Lake

WARSAW, Mo.,—The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Harry S. Truman Lake announce the immediate closure of Bucksaw Beach due to elevated levels of E.coli bacteria, which could cause health risks. 

The beach will be closed until further notice and will re-open as soon as E.coli have returned to safe levels. In the meantime, Corps beaches that remain open for swimming include Berry Bend, Long Shoal, Shawnee Bend, Thibaut Point and Windsor Crossing.
